REMBRANDT ETCHING –1,308,797 INR - 1,745,954 INR

Doodles by Rembrandt even have the capacity to rake in some super moolah! The story behind it is that the great painter used to first try out the characters he wanted to represent first on his copper plates (paper must be expensive then ;)). This etching depicts his face, a poor couple and some small objects scrawled on it. Guess one better change professions and apply for the job of a garbage cleaner at M F Hussain’s place – you never know which of his strewn around doodles might bring back a fortune!
