PVR CINEMAS, READY TO ROCK B-TOWNS
After capturing the market in metros, nation’s leading multiplex chain, PVR Cinemas, is now trying to grab the meat pie available in the tier-II and tier-III cities of the country. On September 19, 2006, company announced the launch of ‘PVR Talkies’ aimed at these cities and plans to spend Rs.2 billion on its new expansion drive. PVR Talkies will be flagged off from Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Latur in Gujrat. The theatre will have a capacity of more than 1,100 seats and tickets will be priced in the range of Rs.40 to Rs.60.
