OIL OR UGLY WEATHER, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!

RISING OIL PRICES COULD BE THE ELIXIR; BY DRIVING MANKIND TOWARDS BETTER ALTERNATIVES

What do the current weather and oil prices have in common? Both are unbearable in most parts of the world these days! And what makes the difference between oil and temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius? The hot weather will subside in winter whereas record oil prices can be expected to keep the momentum and may reach the dreaded figure of $100 per barrel after its recent all-time high at $78. This widely expected move will probably be powered by an intensification of the violent conflicts in the Middle-East, strongly growing demand in the industrializing countries and persistent bottlenecks in refining capacities.
