The “muscle reintegration” procedure takes the nerves from an amputee’s damaged muscle and connects them to a healthy muscle. Doing so allows the user to move the prosthetic arm as if it were a real limb – by simply thinking about what they want the arm to do. Don’t lock those – I want to live forever – dreams away just yet, the days of immortality may not be too distant!
